Imagine this situation:

 

You are having a conversation in English and want to say that  "Fulano de Tal é uma figura!"  or  "Você é uma figura, mesmo!" Como dizer isso inglês?

Easy, huh? You are right if you said:

and

d) Mr. So and So is a character.

 

Definition of "character":

 

• set of attributes that determine a person's moral and ethical actions; He is a man of strong character. 
• letter or symbol; The characters A, G and 9 are not working on my keyboard.  
• personage, an imaginary being represented in a work of fiction. Anessa is the main character in that movie.
