Fun or Funny?

Which one do you think is the correct way to say?

"You are a fun person! I like having funny with you!"

or

"Shelly is a funny girl. I always have so much fun watching her!"

 

Basic stuff for some, hard to understand for others.

FUN = is a noun. "diversão"

FUNNY = is an adjective. "divertido"

 

O primeiro exemplo é o incorreto. O certo seria:

"You are a funny person! I like having fun with you!"

 

Other examples:

Going to the circus is fun! But I don't think the clowns are funny anymore.

It was a fun moment when he decided to speak!

It's funny every time when she tells those jokes.

Have fun!

 

A: Hey, man! Please call me a taxi.
B: Yes, sir. You are a taxi.

Men are like coffee:
The best ones are rich, warm, and keep you up all night long.

  Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.

Fun to look at but not that bright.

 *
