This section is specially dedicated to the intermediate and advanced students of English as a foreign or second language. Of course, all readers are welcome to these pages and I highly encorage you all to read them!

Here are registered some of my own creations in poetry. With each poem comes an audio button, which you can click to listen to the poem as you read it. This way you'll learn new vocabulary and how to say the words. Repeat the poem as you follow listening to it, so you can practice pronunciation.

Como Estudar Inglês por Conta Própria? LEP Ajuda Você! Por que poesia para estudar inglês? Porque poesia é irmã da música, e estas são duas formas agradáveis e eficazes para se aprender uma segunda língua. A poesia traz novos sons e ritmos, combinações e rimas que ajudam na memorização das palavras em inglês; traz expressões, formas coloquiais, e às vezes formais, arcaicas também! E isso tudo faz parte do idioma! Poesia em inglês é o inglês falado, ouvido e sentido. É o inglês que se vive, muito além das lições tradicionais. Ler e ouvir algo em inglês, todos os dias, ajuda a melhorar seu vocabulário e a corrigir problemas de pronúncia. Um poema, um artigo ou um e-mail em inglês por dia é uma ótima maneira de estudar inglês!
